Well, not quite. It's all around us, but last night was an absolutely perfect night with a great campfire, company, and supper. Today is iffy; we may have to dodge some storms to get a bike ride in. We can always take refuge in the Whalan pie shop.
We are at Eagle Cliff Campground, the basis on River Bend Campground in Peete and Repeat. Fall is a busy time up here, and while the place is pretty empty right now, by the weekend it will be full. So our spots are in the middle of a couple rows of seasonal spots. That means we are surrounded by campers fully set up, some with decks and permanent plantings, but since it's the middle of the week, nobody's here. It's like an Apocalypse movie in a campground. And is it dark at night! Woo. But lots of stars last night, and as I said, a beautiful evening.
