The Mystery Sisters
Maxine Berra is a retired botany professor living in Colorado. Her sister, Lillian Garrett, is a widowed housewife in Kansas. They travel together in Max's red 1950 Studebaker to see their siblings, nieces, and nephews, as well as old friends. Their visits are not always enthusiastically received because Max tends to be a little bossy. They also seem to end up embroiled in a murder investigation.
